My Partner and I recently stayed at Tyddyn Sydney Bach during our relocation to the area. The holiday cottage was absolutely perfect and beautifully furnished, it was exactly what we needed after hard days of work and exploring! Les, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and lovely regarding information on the area and making our transition as smooth as possible. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Tyddyn Sydney Bach and we have already told all of our family about the cottage ready for when they come and visit! October 2016
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Les and William made us very welcome, with lovely flowers and homemade cake. The cottage homely and comfy, everything there what is needed, lovely and private as well. The cleanliness of the cottage 100%, and Les and William there if needed, Gardens well maintained, and relaxing to sit outside the cottage having a cup of tea or coffee. May 2016
Stayed on my own for 3 months (February to end of April) at Tyddyn Sydney Bach and was really made to feel at home. Hosts Les and William couldn’t do enough for you and are always on hand to resolve any issues you may have. The cottage has a great location for Bangor and for exploring North Wales, it is in a lovely setting and is equipped with everything you could possibly need, would definitely recommend and would stay again. I stayed at Tyddyn Sydney Bach in 2014 and Les and William made it feel like home, they are the nicest landlords I have ever met. Their kindness and hospitality is beyond this world – not only because I was welcomed with a home made bara brith which was delicious. I would recommend the cottage to anyone who travels solo or couples who wish for a romantic, cosy stay in Wales. The interior is really nice, clean and was furnished and arranged very nicely. You will find anything you need and more (like e.g. warm, fluffy towels – to mention one detail). I hope that I will be able to go back soon.
I stayed at Tyddyn Sydney Bach while studying at Bangor University and loved every moment. I had a very warm welcome, which included flowers and a home-baked cake, and I was immediately struck by the quality and comfort of the cottage. Tyddyn Sydney Bach is situated in a peaceful and idyllic garden and was equipped with everything I needed. The local area is definitely worth exploring too. Les and William were very friendly and supportive but also gave me plenty of privacy when needed. I have recommended the cottage to a friend and she will be staying there during her course but I don’t mind admitting I am more than a little jealous! I would love to have the opportunity to return. Highly recommended.

Very nice cottage, very clean and well-equipped, with a typical British garden. Very quiet in spite of the close highway. Thank you to Les and William for their wonderful welcome. We highly recommend this address! Thanks for all, it was a lovely holiday in your cottage. Max and Catherine, October 2018
Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean. Made very welcome. Excellent base for visiting many North Wales areas. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet bas for a holiday. Wendy and Neil, October 2018
Thanks for the welcoming pack on arrival. We have had a great week despite fierce winds on the Friday. We must recommend the Anglesey Arms in Caernarfon for Sunday Lunch and Liverpool Hotel on Conwy Quayside for the Amber Bass ale. We will return next year! Janice and Ernie, October, 2018
We have had a lovely few days break in this very comfortable and exceptionally clean cottage. The roses, Welsh cakes and milk etc are a lovely touch and much appreciated. Had a lovely meal at the Boathouse at Red Wharf Bay – would definitely recommend it. Thank you for your help and kindness during our stay. Julie and James, October 2018
