Our location here near Bangor, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Menai Strait, is something many of our guests appreciate. Guest reviews reveal that our guests love being close to the mountains, the sea, and all the historical sites that North Wales and Anglesey have to offer. Hi-Spec/Hi-Tech Cottage situated in Beautiful Established Grounds
We arrived a little early (3pm arrival) but Les welcomed us into the accommodation and gave a thorough introduction to where everything was and how it all worked. We quickly got settled (thanks for the Welsh cakes, gorgeous roses, tea, coffee, milk, etc!) This thoughtfully appointed hi-spec/hi-tech cottage is situated in beautiful established grounds - a real nature haven! We couldn't have asked for a more perfectly situated homely base for our week's holiday in North Wales and Anglesey. Although the weather was pretty good for the whole week we'd love to come back in summer to experience this wonderful part of the world again! Thanks Les for your hospitality, care and attention of this wee holiday sanctuary. Enjoy Summer 2024!

Perfect Stay!
The cottage is beautifully presented, immaculately clean and well appointed. Set in a lovely secluded garden area. Attentive host, Les was very thoughtful and considerate throughout our stay. We were visiting our daughter who is studying at Bangor University and the cottage is conveniently located for the town centre as well as a great location for exploring the wider North Wales area and Anglesey. Thank you for a perfect stay, we hope to return!

Delightful Cottage Perfect Base for Exploring
This delightful cottage was the perfect base for hiking and paddleboarding, both on Anglesey, and also in Snowdonia. The cottage itself was larger than we expected, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. It is set in the beautiful grounds of the house, however it feels cleverly secluded with its own private patio area. Les was welcoming and a great source of local knowledge - thank you. We enjoyed the welcome treats and fresh flowers too. We always looked forward to returning to Tyddyn Sydney Bach after a long day's hike. We would thoroughly recommend this cosy cottage.

Lovely Bungalow for Two!
We have just returned from a week's holiday at Tyddyn Sydney Bach, you drive up the lane and the gate opens to a wonderful garden and Tyddyn Sydney Bach. A lovely bungalow for two with everything you could ask for set in the gardens. Les and William were perfect hosts, and the situation is ideal for exploring Anglesey and North Wales.

Excellent Place to Explore Bangor and it Wonderful Surroundings
We spent two weeks in your comfortable and well equipped cottage. It’s an excellent place to explore Bangor and it wonderful surroundings with castles, gardens, mountains and the coast. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we say Thank You for your nice welcome with Welsh Cakes and beautiful roses which accompanied us throughout the two weeks!

Stayed Here Eight Times!
Thank you for your help and kindness - and the Welsh cakes, wine and flowers. We have stayed here 8/9 times now - or more - and love the cottage- so comfortable to come back to. New this year - visit to the Velocity Zipwire Cafe - good food, views, Different! See you next year!

A Very Nice Trip
We had a wonderful time in the cottage. You made us feel welcome with housemade cake and other speciality. We loved our visit to North Wales very much. We visited most of the National Trust properties and more. We loved the coast very much and also we travelled with the Snowdon Mountain rail. A very nice trip. It is a pity to leave you and we hope to come back.

The Cottage is so Comfortable, Clean and Well Equipped
A lovely week. The cottage is so comfortable, clean and well equipped. Les and William are very welcoming and friendly. Flowers, Welsh cakes and jam, and tea were most welcome on our arrival. The cottage is in a great location for visiting the area - everything seems so close. We've thoroughly enjoying visiting Snowdon, nearby National Trust properties, castles and the Hidden Gardens. Highly recommend a stay at Tyddyn Sydney Bach - a wonderful retreat. Thank you.

We Feel So Much At Home Here!
This is our second visit here and already we are planning our third! We feel so at home here and this is thanks to Les and William and this beautiful little haven and retreat they have both lovingly restored. Those special touches that we we remember, beautiful flowers on arrival, Welsh cakes, jam and Prosecco with strawberries too.
It is all of these little things that makes it feel so special and make you want to keep coming back.
