Sailing Boats competing in the Menai Strait Regatta
The dates for this year’s Menai Strait Regatta are 5th August to 17th August 2024
The sailing takes place on the Menai Strait. The event is largely based in Beaumaris towards the north of the Strait, but with other venues included right up to Caernarfon through the Swellies and round Puffin Island.
There are Starts for 15 classes and a small friendly dinghy fleet which is perfect to learn tidal sailing. This event is growing as a classic boat regatta with boats such as the Fife OD, the Mersey Mylne OD and the Conway OD. Cruisers and Dinghies are welcomed in the handicap fleets, why not bring yours?
