Stayed for 10 days ay Tyddyn Sydney Bach.
Can’t speak more highly of the property and Les who looks after you.
The cottage is immaculate and of a high quality for a commercially let property. The building is secluded with your own privacy. The position really is A1 for North Wales and Anglesey too and on the edge of Bangor by a major road junction so its good for both touring and staying put and chilling out.
Les is great as a hostess and seems to know when you want to be left alone or talk. She seems not to be the hard nosed businesswoman type necessary to run a larger establishment with multiple lettings but is perfect for the personal attention on a 1 to 1 basis here and seems genuinely keen that everything is perfect for you without being intrusive.
There is a Morrison’s, Waitrose and a large Tesco within 2 miles and two chain pub restaurants a Table Table place attached to the Premier inn and The Antelope pub overlooking the Menai Bridge within a mile.
Les left more than enough material in the cottage for everything wothwhile within range of Bangor and I would recommend one lof her local walks down to the Britannia Bridge and along the coast through a nature reserve to the Antelope Pub and across the Menia Bridge to the town of Menai
I needed the WiFi connection for my work (self employed and all that) and it was clear she was fretting over this. No need to worry the WiFi connection was much better quality than most hotels.
I also left my laptop bag behind and Les soon had it in the post back to me at home.
All in all, if you are a couple and North Wales/Anglesy is suited to you Tyddyn Sydney Bach is an excellent base to choose. May 2012
