Llanddwyn Bay Sandy beach with forest and extensive dunes – leads to LLanddwyn Island and Newborough Nature reserve where Red Squirrels have been reintroduced. It is a Blue Flag beach with a nudist area on this large beach  LL61 6SG (13 miles)

Bangor Ogwen Beach Spinnies, Aberogwen nature reserve A coastal lagoon with a variety of waders and ducks next to the Ogwen Estuary and Traeth Lavan with its internationally important area of birds LL57 3YH (6.7 miles)

 

Nantporth By the Shores of the Menai Strait with some Limestone woodland, coastal ash woodland and old quarries.
